Directions for Use

Important: Tec4 Tec-Foam must always be applied on the vehicle, as heat is essential for effective cleaning.

  1. Ensure the DPF is at operating temperature and the engine is switched off.

  2. Remove the pressure sensor, temperature sensor, or appropriate access port and insert the long probe into the DPF.

  3. Inject a sufficient amount of Tec-Foam to ensure the entire filter monolith is completely covered.

  4. Reinstall the sensor to seal the opening and return the vehicle to its original state.

  5. Allow the vehicle to stand for 20 minutes, allowing the Tec-Foam to fully penetrate the filter.

  6. Take a 20-minute drive to expel all loosened deposits through the exhaust.

  7. After cleaning, it may be necessary to perform a forced regeneration or digitally reset the DPF.
